Paul is the Global Head of NEX Optimisation Analytics (ENSO , A NEX Group Company) and responsible for growing and managing ENSO sales efforts in the US, EMEA, and APAC regions, as well as client relations, marketing, and new business development activities. He works with the larger NEX Optimisation team to identify synergies and bring a wide array of opportunities to clients.
He is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the financial industry and brings with him extensive buy-side relationships in regards to securities lending and prime brokerage solutions. Paul has spent the past 5 years (2012-2017) appointed as the Head of Prime Finance Americas for HSBC.
Prior to his role with HSBC, Paul worked at Deutsche Bank Securities for 12 and a half years. While at Deutsche, he was appointed as the Co-head of Equity Finance Americas and Head of Securities Lending Americas, where he successfully developed and recruited a top 3 industry team to manage and grow the Equity Finance business across sales, trading, client origination, operations, and technology across multiple global equity markets. He lead APAC efforts in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan from 1996 to 2001.
